When the Wynns were designing their iconic hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, Elaine Wynn led the effort in selecting distinct in-room amenities. Unimpressed with what the market offered, Mrs. Wynn set out to create a custom collection. Already a fan of LATHER’s natural, aromatherapy-based retail products, she tapped us to develop a hair and body range worthy of the property and clientele it would serve.

The Results

Launched with the opening of Wynn Las Vegas in 2005, the Desert Bambu collection was later expanded to Wynn properties around the world.

Part of the Wynn brand for more than a decade, the collection was a key touchpoint to every guest’s experience.

The winning formulation was a favorite of guests and celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey.

The collection was LATHER Custom’s first custom line and is still one of the most recognizable amenity collections in the world and is credited with raising the bar for in-room offerings.
